On September 4th, Parliament will hold an extraordinary session regarding the president's commitments to the inclusion of “exchange of territories” or “border correction” in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. The session has been initiated by the opposition and supported by two ruling parties -- the AAK of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj's Initiative. Haradinaj and Limaj are part of the negotiating team representing Kosovo in the dialogue with Serbia, which leads Thaci and is created without placing it in the Assembly.
On the other hand, a number of civil society organisations through an open letter have appealed to the president to give up the option affecting the state borders. For the same goal, on 5 September, another group of organisations and activists, listed in the “proposal”, has warned protests.
