But even though summer's vitality is missing, Durres' beach has its loyal vacationers, and in this season. The calm, warm, yet unburning rays of the sun, the purity of water, and the most favorable prices outside the season are some of the reasons why many vacationers continue to frequent Durres.
They come mainly from Tirana, Macedonia and Kosovo, yes and from EU countries. However, even when the weather is not so warm, vacationers will not be absent for walks near the Adriatic in the fall.
Most recent vacationers have apartments near the beach. But one reason for drawing others by the sea is food.
Even in winter, when the beach is abandoned, good beach fish restaurants are the reason why many people turn to shore again. /
