The blast occurred at around 5:30 a.m. (0330 GMT) in a country run by Bayeroil group near the bavarez city of Ingopolstat.

About 1,800 residents of the nearby towns of Vohburg and Irsching were evacuated as a preventive measure.
“Work to extinguish the flames is continuing”, police said. About 200 firefighters were at the scene.
Emergency services were addressed to residents within a 20-mile radius to keep their doors and windows closed because of the” smoke.
