Shpend Ahmeti rules out suspected bribery worker

The Pristina municipality has recently indicated that it has been announced by one of the companies that implements the Komuna project, that payments for the work done have been delayed.

For the procedure to be accelerated, the company says it has bribed one of Pristina's civil servants.

As a result, we have immediately denounced the case in the Kosovo Police, and President Shpend Ahmeti has ruled with the prevention the worker on whom he is suspected, until the opposite is proved. Today we were informed that by order of the prosecutor, the official in question was escorted to the police.

The Pristina municipality, such as the Community, as an example in fighting corruption and organised crime, will in no way allow public money to be misused by its officials, nor to become conditional and favourable through bribery”, the municipality reports.
