“There will not be any charges at least a year, respectively, until talks between Belgrade and Pristina are completed in Brussels”, Blic “an anonymous source of Pristina power broadcasts the economy.
According to the paper, the formation of the special court “for KLA crimes has caused concern and stresses that Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is now long counted as one of the tribunal's sure indictees.
However, according to the paper, given that Thaci has a high political position, it is a little reliable that he, or Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, and Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin “will be brought to justice”.
The paper quoted Serbian lawyer Nebojsa Vlajik, who would represent the victims of “KLA crimes”, as saying he also does not expect a quick start to the trials.
The “Albanians have linked the Pristina and Belgrade negotiations to the work of the KLA's war crimes tribunal. For them, the KLA members' judgment is very important, so they are trying to make the outcome of talks with Belgrade in Brussels conditional on a kind of guarantee that they will be housed or punished little for crimes in Kosovo”, Vlajlic has said.
Political analyst Dusan Janzic has told the paper that the Brussels process and the Special Court would have to be independent of each other, but are still in collation. “Preses that, due to this case, the court will first start with smaller crime materials among Albanians, which will not awaken high media attention, while only towards the end of 2019 will begin two major processes, and again balanced -- against organ trade, but also against the blood-blooded group of Serbia's top army officials, Janjiq has declared.
