Weam Al Daxheel “made history” after co-signing the news bulletin in Al Saudiia, during Thursday night with her colleague, is broadcasting Telegrafi.
The journalist has received praise on social networks, where Twitter users complimented her for her work, acknowledging that her appearance has marked a big turn in the conservative kingdom.
Al Daxheel used to work as a journalist for CNBC Arabia and as a host at Al-Arab with headquarters in Bahrain. Television Al Saudiya was earlier known as Saudi TV, is run by the state and managed by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
