The “Movement” has handed over 12 courses to Special Prosecutor for investigating members of the Kosovo People's Movement and the National Movement, who were killed in prisons and waiting during Serbia's regime.
Gevat Bislimi, chairman of “Movement” said they are seeking to investigate and illuminate these cases.
He said Serbian power has also had Albanian collaborators for these murders, but according to him, it is the prosecutor's duty to find out and show at what level their co-operation has been.
“We have already handed over 12 subjects to investigate and to jail the activists and leaders of the Kosovo People's Movement, mainly but also of the National Movement, to be started by Shaban Shala, Fazli Grejchev, the Shrovalla brothers, Kadri Zeka, Nuh Berisha of Rexhep Mala, Abzam Mehmet at Ferizaj, who has been killed in torture and thrown from the sixth floor to Uktin Hootin 111x1>, Bilims said.
He believes the prosecution will work on clarifying these cases, while adding that they are preparing dozens of other subjects for investigation.
These are now martyrs of the nation and heroes, so their fate should be enlightened for our society to have a calm conscience, and for the public, for the families, for our collaborators, for our people to know about their fate, how they were killed, how they were arrested, how they were tortured, how they were killed, how they were surrounded, who followed them, who made the political decision to kill, who executed them, and what they were executed, said Bislim.
“Movement Headship member” Bajram Ajeti said those responsible for killing political prisoners are at large even working through central institutions. But Ajeti has refused to give names or to tell who he is talking about.
And we think, today, that we are walking freely through the streets of Kosovo and without even asking for forgiveness for all the bad ones or the harm they have done until they take lives and kill people in prisons just because they wanted their homeland. I didn't say today, you know, investigate you”, Ajjeti said.
In these 12 subjects sent for investigation, there are the names of 16 persons for whom society “Movement” is seeking investigation into their murder.
