According to the Macedonian Electoral Commission, turnout in the referendum is 33.2 per cent.
After the end of the process, Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has said the agreement reached with Greece -- on the new name of Northern Macedonia -- will be taken for a vote in Parliament if most participants in the referendum have voted in favour.
The Macedonian opposition, which rejected the referendum, announced plans to celebrate in front of parliament.
