According to Hasani, Dema had given false testimony to the court that Hasani had allegedly known that contracts for “have been changed to translate books from English into Albanian for the needs of the UP.
In criminal remarks, Hasan accuses the procurement chief, Hakif Veliu, that with the insistence of the institute's director had made changes to Article 17 of the contract, changing the way to pay instead of price 12.65 euros per 1000 words to 12.65 euros for 1000 characters.
For this change, Hasani says Dema, who at the time was a projector for finance, had been aware but had not reported.
While in the judicial process against Enver Hasani, Dema had voluntarily gone to testify that Hasan had knowledge of this change of article, declaring against him.
Hasan doubts that Dema's volunteering to declare it in court comes after Dema had closed Granit's case a week earlier, where he talked about hundreds of thousands of dollars in silver.
While, Rector Dema stands behind the statement he has made in court. Dema says these charges are being made only to undermine his image and university, but will remain strong only to serve UP's the way he says he deserves it.
