The announcement comes from Armenia's Foreign Ministry, after the meeting of Minister Zohrab Mnasakanyan with Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli in New York, within the work of the UN General Assembly.
“Armenia has not formally recognised Kosovo, but such meetings give the possibility of recognising the approaches of the two countries by the first hand and exchanging views on issues of common interest”, Armenian media quoted Minister Mnatsakanyan as quoting.
Pacolli also announced the meeting through social networks.
According to him, Armenia and Kosovo have the possibility of co-operation in the field of economy and trade.
He left open the possibility of a visit to Armenia.
