Very often there have been reports of deaths caused by injuries that certain workers have received during their private sector work.
The lack of safety tools, such as helmets, skeletons, and other essential measures, have caused many young people to suffer from trying to extract bread with such work, reports Periscope.
Periscop has provided several photos as a worker has been seen in a very dangerous state working in a building in Gjilan today.
The images indicate that the height is quite high, while the worker does not have protective measures such as helmets or even skeletons as tools. In addition, the person in question was working at very high temperatures.
Young Milor Beleg is the last victim to have lost his life in his workplace. Although he was in an accident on August 19, he was treated at QKUK for a week.
As a result, only during this year have 13 workers lost their lives in the workplace.
This was made known by Yusuf Azemi, chairman of the Independent Private Sector Union.
Azzam has said workers that, in most cases, even with faculties, are forced to work on high residential objects.
He vows that someone will be accountable for this.
“There are exactly 13 workers who died this year at their workplace. This year has been a very frequent phenomenon with the death of young workers, since skilled workers even with faculties are forced to work at 7-8-story buildings. Someone has to answer for that”, Azemi says.
Kosovo's governments since the post-war, even though they have sometimes pledged to improve the conditions of workers, their promises have remained only on paper./Periscopi/
