The communique does not reveal the number of present-day participants in the protest called by the Vetevendosje Movement.

The announcement reportedly was calm and that everything has been through without any incidents.

“Just as Kosovo Police have been known (PK) has in time made all necessary police preparations for the prosperity of the protest warned for today (29.09.2018) in Pristina to ensure order, peace and public safety, before, and after the protest. The protest has started around 2: 00 p.m. around 2: 00 p.m., protesters initially gathered at the National Library in Pristina, to then proceed towards Skenderbeu Square, where several speeches from different personalities were delivered before protesters”, the report said.

Police further suggest that for the free movement of protesters and citizens, including the redirection of traffic along the protest march, the police headquarters committed to the police plan have consistently been cared for.

“Ven to suggest that Kosovo Police through implementation of the police plan have seen to it that, in terms of security, protests pass smoothly and without incident, a major contribution in this direction has been made by citizens themselves, who showed a high culture protesting peacefully. Around 4:10 p.m. protesters have begun to disperse, the protest has ended peacefully and without incident”, Kosovo Police have announced.
