Through drone patrols, this unit will identify communications offenders.

According to the sergeant, Arsim Gollubovci's drone patrol has begun with the aim of preventing accidents.

We started out today with accident prevention. We have found it reasonable that besides the other plans we have to start patrolling with fear of preventing criminals who violate communications rules”, Golobovci told Calco.com.

He added that for criminals who violate communications rules, there will be zero tolerance.

Gollubovci said patrols with fear have initially started in the centre of the city by controlling countervasors who pass through the red light of the traffic, continuing patrols for control of the criminals who make the crossing across the full line.

Now depending on the situation where there's a breach, we'll continue to patrol. We will continue to patrol at increased pace and engage units as much as necessary for the patrol to be effective”, Gollobovci said.

Under the law on traffic regulations, the fine for full-line excess starts from 100 to 300 euros, the driver's license ban for 3 to 6 months, and two negative points.

The Regional Traffic Unit in Pristina has announced that patrol with fear will continue depending on how effective patrols will be.
