Police Director at Meeting with Ambassador Delaway

The police chief, in recognition of bilateral co-operation, thanked the American ambassador for his visit and also announced him of the KP's commitments and goals towards meeting its legal duties and obligations, in Kosovo's best security and order.

During the meeting, Qalaj pointed out that police are well prepared and committed to providing security in the country and in fighting organised crime, and also singled out that it will continue with the increasing professionalism and integrity of the Kosovo Police.

For his part, Delawi praised the new KK leader for his selection of the General Director, wishing him success in his work.

Washington's envoy to Kosovo confirmed further US Embassy support for this security institution, in various areas, and in particular in empowering the rule of law in Kosovo.
