SpaceX, the space transport company led by entrepreneur Elon Musk, said it has registered the first private passenger to fly around the moon with its Big Falcon missile.
“SpaceX recorded the first private passenger in the world to fly around the moon an important step towards the opportunity for any person who dreams of traveling into space”, the company said in a post in Titter.
She did not mention any timetable when the trip will take place and did not reveal who the passenger is.
In the past, however, he has said that he will achieve success by two passengers sometime at the end of 2018.
The company said it will provide more information on the plan on September 17th.
“State who will fly and why, on Monday,”, SpaceX said.
Only 24 people in history were on the moon. No one has been there since the last Apollo mission in 1972”, the California headquarters company said.
