O'Connell's Vessel Sign Continues Co-operation for High Positions

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin and Grand Britain Ambassador to Pristina Ruari O'Connell have signed Memorandum Co-operation today for continuing the project to recruit professional officials to senior leadership positions.

Chief Parliamentary Veselin said there has been criticism over the process of recruiting people in such positions, so, according to him, it has begun and is continuing this project, which will fight inequalities and help select professional frameworks.

Kosovo needs a corrupt environment. I am determined to go to the end of political and social discrimination. This is happening thanks to this cooperation. This project helps Kosovo move forward and boost the credibility of professional framework”, Veselin stressed.

He said Kosovo institutions in co-operation with international partners should also make the property for the justice system, police, but also politics so that persons serving and leading citizens can be clean and creditable.

Ambassador Ruari O'Connell, for his part, said signing this memorandum is one of the best news in the last two years, through which, according to him, the cases of nepotism will be addressed.

He said that during the two years of implementation of this project many professionals have been appointed to top leadership positions.
