In an interview given Sunday for the newspaper “The new era”, he has stressed that such ideas may have verse consequences not only for Kosovo and its citizens, but also for other Balkan countries.
President Thaci has no right to promote correction of borders and exchange of territories because he is violating the Constitution. For dialogue it must have a mandate of 2/3 of the Parliament. Without that mandate, any agreement is unstable and unerring. This should be considered by Mr. Moghrin, Vuciqi and the EU”, Mustafa has declared.
According to him, the first agreement signed by Thaci, and neither the principle document signed by Mustafa gives the Association of Communities with the Serbian Majority executive competence and third power.
I've clarified that the Association of Serb-run municipalities has been founded on the first agreement signed by Mr. Thaci then prime minister and ratified with over 2/3 from the Kosovo Assembly. To be correct, I must add that neither the first agreement signed by Thaci nor the principle document signed by me gives the association executive competence and third power. Statements on this are being issued by political diplomats who have remained in the land, as the LDK is not joining this dialogue with people who do not have political and constitutional legitimacy. Republika Serpska of our justice minister and his men should be prevented by the new agreement. That is why their embarrassment is also here! ”, he stressed.
Mustafa has also talked about the one-year work of the Haradinaj government. He has stressed that this ruling coalition is undermining the country and risking budget stability.
The LDK leader has estimated that the Assembly is not functioning normally and that the government is making arbitrary decisions.
“This has caused Kosovo as a state with parliamentary system to be abused by the president and to appear to be a presidential state, because the jobs it should exercise Government and Parliament in an unconstitutional way are being exercised by the country's president”, Mustafa has indicated, adding that if he was wise, an hour earlier he would distribute the Parliament and go to new elections.
He has warned co-operation with Vetevendosje Movement to create conditions for new elections and for good governance of the country.
The opposition's “Role is of the correcting factor. The LDK parliamentary group is doing this. Sometimes we are confusing the addresses, because our opposition is in the Assembly, it refers to the government and governance of the country; the way the Assembly is being conducted; and how parliamentary procedures are being violated. As a result of some past resentment, but also the president's arbitration in relation to dialogue, the impression is sometimes given that we deal with it rather than with those who are governing the country. We should co-operate with other opposition parties, but also the position to go to new elections”, Mustafa has said.
