Some cabinet ministers have charges filed by the Prosecutor for “Use of official task” and for “Corruption”. Problems with the law also have many Kosovo Assembly deputies. Civil society representatives say that the clean “governance” cannot be done with ministers or with senior public officials having problems with justice.
Despite the fact that charges have already been filed against them for “Using official office” and for “Corruption” some Kosovo Government ministers and some MPs in Parliament are continuing to stay in their positions.
Infrastructure Minister Paul Lekaj, Minister of Infrastructuring and Intervention Besim Beqaj and KSF Minister Rrustem Berisha are some of the current ministers who continue to lead important government dictatorships, although they have charges filed by the Prosecution, writes further “Zri”.
Also, the indictment by the Special Prosecutor has been filed against deputies Zenun Pajaziti (PDK), Milaim Zeka (Nisma), Demaliyaaj (AAK), as well as some LVV deputies (for tear gas drop).
