Among those accused of manipulations with veterans' lists is KSF Minister Rrustem Berisha. The latter is saying that until there is something official written by the prosecution, I cannot decide whether to answer the latter's invitation.

Almost a month after prosecutor Elez Blakaj's departure from Kosovo, the prosecution on Friday has filed charges of manipulations with veterans' lists.

Among the accused are deputies, ministers and officials of political parties in the country.

On charges of misuse of official authority will be tried Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitija, Shkumbim Demalij, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliou, Fadil Shudaj, Xhavit Jashar, Kele Gashi, Shukri Buja, Ahmet Daku and Smajl Elezaj.

KSF Minister Rrustem Berisha in a proposal for Gazeta Inseder has said he has so far received any confirmation from the prosecution of the indictment.

Asked if he would respond to the invitation, he said that he would first analyze the entire charge.

I didn't get any official confirmation. After officially receiving the invitation, he will analyse and make decisions as well as”, Berisha said.

The KSF minister has not wanted to comment on the latest publications by the media, where veterans who have illegally received pensions are identified.

Berisha has said he is unaware of whether those published lists are official.

I basically do not comment on these prosecutorial decisions. I don't have anything special to add. I don't know what those official lists are, I don't have anything written on her basis that I could give the opinion to”, Rrustem Berisha said.
