The Democratic League of Kosovo Parliamentary Group has considered that the government coalition is continuing to capture institutions.
According to this party, waves are being made in the selection of KEK's director.
LDK's full communication:
As the question of dialogue with Serbia dominates the debate in Kosovo, the government coalition is continuing to capture institutions. Two days ago, the Commission for Economic Development, Trade, Industry and Regional Development discussed the election of the ERR Board chairman. This is a very important institution, taking into account developments expected to occur in the energy sector.
The Kosovo government illegally and violating the Memorandium of Co-operation with the British Embassy, sent the names of two people who have been assessed with minimal points compared to the other two candidates praised by the assessment commission to Kosovo. This whole process has been observed by the company engaged by the British Embassy. The opposition's insistence commission has demanded clarification from the government.
Yesterday, it was also reported on Mr. Blerand Stavileci and a family member of Mr. Hashim Thaci for KEK Chief Executive Chief.
The LDK considers this unacceptable. Kosovo has a lot of energy field experts and that continuing to capture this sector will have consequences for all citizens of the country.
The PDK and the AAK, as governing partners, have the obligation to deal with the KED's strike because the first have taken responsibility to lead, meanwhile, second ones are responsible for privatising the distribution.
