Berisha stresses that despite Kosovars' wishes there can be no army without the US, NATO and the other allies.

The LDK had also become an obstacle to transforming the KSF into the Army. According to Prime Minister Haradinaj, the LDK's own chairman Isa Mustafa had opposed making the KSF Army at the American Embassy.
“As far as the military is concerned, I'm sorry, but it is LDK that has left Kosovo without an army. I was at the American Embassy and Isa Mustafa were there, and there was Behgjet Pacolli. There has been only one additional mandate for the Serb minority in the Assembly. The LDK wanted to sell patriot for 1 per cent of votes. Then you sold patriotism. You have called us traitors and here we are now”, Haradinaj said in the Kosovo Assembly.
