Italy will close its border to illegal refugee ships from eastern countries, despite the risks this decision may bring. This is Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Konte's statement during the speech he held after being called to parliament to explain the Dicoti ship's case. Meanwhile, all migrants left in church custody have disappeared in Italy, while another 20 people expect to move to Albania for refuge.
“Italia is no longer available in the shelter of immigrants who reach its territory”. That's the way it is.
In the Italian Parliament, Prime Minister Giuseppe Cete stated during his explanations following Dicotti's appeal to the ship.
Fonta: “Compared to the past, Italy is no longer available for a immigrant friend, despite the risk this decision could bring in increasing human trafficking, or in delegateing responsibility to the European Union. Europe must adopt a stable and long-term mechanism for managing landing stages, distribution and migration.” The Dicotti ship is an ugly site of the European Union”.
Referring to the Dicotti complaint, the head of the Italian executive said that without the intervention of Italian coastal ships, the leftovers of the rescue migrants would have been victims.
The Italian prime minister has accused Europe of indifference to the ship's issue of immigrants. Despite Italy's demand for a distribution plan for immigrants, at the Brussels meeting on August 24th, the response of Europaine institutions has been negative.
Meanwhile, the Dioctti ship's immigrants continue to remain an open Italian debate. All clans taken to shelter from the Italian Church result in extinction. They have left the shelter centers available in various Italian dioceses.
Most of the ships' immigrants have refused to introduce asylum demands in Italy in fear of permanent residence in this territory. The Italian Interior Ministry has announced that 34 of the ships' immigrants Dicotti have been detained aboard a bus at the Ventigilia border and traveling to France. While in Messina, Sicily, 20 other people are awaiting the launch of the transfer procedure in Albania.
