Ahmeti Isufi, deputy chairman of the AAK, is convinced that the shift of territories cannot be done with understanding and on the negotiating table, but only in war. So he insists that his party is against this idea.
The reconstruction of territories between Kosovo and Serbia cannot be done with consensus and the negotiating table, but only with war. So stated during an interview with the newspaper “Voice” AAK Deputy Chairman Ahmeti Isufi, rejecting President Hashim Thaci's idea of negotiating borders with the Serbian side.
Isufi, who is also the head of AAK deputies in the Kosovo Assembly, has also spoken of the Kosovo Government negotiating team, which Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj leads, but the same one this week failed to get the Parliament's approval. According to Isufi, this negotiating team proposed by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj is the only way, he says, to enable President Hashim Thaci to discuss Kosovo's borders in Brussels.
While opposition rejection of this team of negotiators Isufi has called it a game for political interests, according to him the Government has offered the country's opposition all opportunities to be part of the dialogue and adopt the platform proposed by them.
The AAK's chief of deputies has also spoken of protests expected to be organised over the days ahead by the opposition, saying the organisation of the protests is civic right, but caution must be taken to avoid damaging the country.
