Ismet Beqiri: Dialogue after election, protest, unless LDK leads

LDK Secretary Ismet Beqiri has said today that LDK chairman Isa Mustafa, at a meeting with the heads of branches of this party, has discussed the current political issues Kosovo is facing, as is the question of dialogue with Serbia, protests called by the VV and possible early elections.

For the 29 September protest, expected to be held by the VV, Beqiri said they would not support it until all possibilities in Kosovo institutions are exhausted, but has not ruled out the possibility of the LDK's protest body in the future.

Bariqiri: Dialogue Only After Elections

He has renewed the LDK's stance that he will not support the 29 September protest, but if someone from the LDK deputy supports this protest, The LDK will not stop anyone from going to protest.

Bariqiri: We closed the door in protest.

If there should be protests in a future, we've closed the door in protest. If he needs it, The LDK with its organs will make decisions, but the LDK will lead these protests. Beqiri has said among other things that the LDK's GP will support the draft laws on forming the Kosovo Army, if that happens in NATO co-ordination and international factor.

On the issue of KLA vents, Beqiri said it is very clear that there has been abuse in this process, budget damage and demanded that this be cleared of the justice organs, Kosovo Presses reports.
