Alternative MP Ilir Deda has said Hashim Thaci does not know the meaning of border correction when he speaks of a possible agreement with Serbia. He said that the President has not even recognised international law, which allows for correcting borders between states that have recognised each other.

The international law recognises the correction of borders where there is geographic non-consistence but not ethnic, and is done only among UN member states that recognise each other's independence. Thaci's tales have no basis in international law”, wrote Deda, in a response to the Fb, following a long write by Thaci that the Kosovo case is a special case until border correction allows international law

““Sui generis”, or Kosovo as a special case, has to do with declaring independence, and this particularity has recognised over 110 countries of the world, as well as legitimised the International Court of Justice. This will not have experimentation, ethnic correction of borders, and ethnic cleansing in peace”, he added.

“Is it too received by the head of state to know the meaning of the words he says?”, he asked.
