Minister Hoxha has thanked and expressed gratitude for Minister Bleümel for Austrian support for Kosovo, in all phases of statehood and statehood, focusing on supporting visa liberalisation as well as strengthening bilateral relations.
“We highly appreciate Austria's contribution and support, in particular about visa liberalisation. We have already launched the information campaign for this important process for Kosovo and its citizens”, Minister Hoxha stressed at the meeting, adding that this is a joint success with friendly countries like Austria, which was consistently alongside Kosovo citizens.
The minister stressed that Kosovo needs Austria's further support, especially at this stage by accelerating decision-making for visa liberalisation so that this process can be completed during the Austrian presidency.
Austria's Federal Minister for the European Union, Blümel, praised Kosovo's commitment to meeting conditions from the guide, as well as SAA measures. He offered Austria's support in the processes Kosovo is undergoing.
The minister at the meeting with Minister Blümel also noted the commitment to implementing the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, as well as the European Reform Agreement, ERA 2, which envisions continued implementation of reforms with particular attention to public administration reform.
