Hoti through a Facebook post has said calls for unity in front of Serbia, and allegations that the opposition is hindering this unity are untrue.
“Fests in the “style sit down together and create a consensus to confront Serbia” are just trying to protect the non-legal minority is in power and institutions are non-functional”, Hoti wrote.

“The LDK is ready to lead the consensus on dialogue. Let's start this consensus with the adoption of the resolution in the opposition-wanted Kosovo Assembly, where it clearly states that the “Territor of the Republic of Kosovo is one and undivided and that neither the president nor anyone else has the mandate to negotiate the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.” Let us then continue this consensus effort with organising free elections to launch legitimate institutions”, Hoti wrote among other things.
