Danjean, a French secret service agent, has served for several years straight for Kosovo President Hashim Thaci as adviser. He first came to Kosovo in 2002 as a member UNMIK. After the end of the mission, he has served as Thaci's adviser since the current president was in opposition.
Danjean, has been a relative to the Kosovo Information Service, (SHIK) led by Kadri Wessel. He is one of the most talked about numerous ties to Serbia, writes Inseder.
On Thursday, the European Parliament voted in favour of visa liberalisation for Kosovo, paving the way for visa removal and ending the isolation of Kosovars who are the only ones in the Balkans who cannot move without visas within the zone, “Schengen”
Arnaud Danjean, himself discovered by former French service chief Pierre Simari, in a special documentary on French TV Canal +. He claimed Thaci himself was recruited by French service.
According to him, in the history of Thaci's recruiting, Arnaud Danjean was involved at the time, the Balkan Affairs Investigative Officer.
