Haradinaj travels to US for official visit

Under the visit to New York, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj will hold meetings with various leaders and representatives of states, who will be participants in the development of UN General Assembly works and will seek the support of all for Kosovo to be an equal part of the international community.

According to a Government communiqué, the presentation of the country's achievements, attracting foreign direct investment, strengthening bilateral relations with participating states, meetings with counterparts from European states will be part of the prime minister's agenda.

Focusing on the US visit, Prime Minister Haradinaj will remain in Washington, where he is expected to have bilateral meetings with senators and congressmen and other influential US personalities.

The meetings are expected to discuss deepening the co-operation and partnership of the state of Kosovo and the United States of America.

“America is Kosovo's strategic partner, and the reports conducted so far will steadily deepen”, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said.

Prime Minister Haradinaj will also develop activities with the Albanian community of America, which has played an important role in the past for internationalising the Kosovo issue, but also in the processes Kosovo is currently going through.
