He made these comments at a media conference, following the Kosovo government's meeting.
Our “task is to protect the Constitution, territorial integrity, sovereignty. We shouldn't talk about territory and borders without warrants. I think and am convinced that the goal of the agreement with Serbia through border correction is to go back, respectively, to tragedy”, Haradinaj has said.
By contrast, in the continuation of debates about the correction of borders between Kosovo and Serbia, initiated by Kosovo State Chief Hashim Thaci weeks ago, the country's first and first executives differ on the subject.
While Thaci is constantly insisting that compromise with Serbia will be painful and very difficult, not denying even what he is calling a correction of the borders, Haradinaj is continuing to remain classical against this idea, which, according to him, would produce uncertainty and danger of the outbreak of new conflicts in the Balkans.
