Haradinaj pro-founding new municipalities

As for the plant construction issue, I can say that we will engage in the highest seriousness possible to examine it in detail, and that we will not allow any harmful investment for the community “, Prime Minister Haradinaj added.

Accompanied by Regional Development Minister Rasim Demiri, Prime Minister Haradinaj said that with his arrival in Government, co-operation between the central and local levels has gone to a more dynamic phase and now municipalities have greater attention from the government.

Meanwhile, Regional Development Minister Rasim Demiri thanked Prime Minister Haradinaj for his presence in the event, until he said the Bosnian community is facing some challenges in this part of the country.

The decentralisation issue is one of the main concerns. Construction of hydropower plants in water resources is among other concerns. Also, the situation of road infrastructure is not at the right level, and its improvement also affects tourism development. These are the most fundamental requirements of all residents, and deserve considerable attention from Kosovo institutions, because we have contributed to the country's declaration of Independence”, the minister Demiri suggested.

On the other hand, those present in one word are also greeted by MPs on this side in the Kosovo Assembly, Duda Balje and Bahrim Shabani, from which they sought the support of Prime Minister Haradinaj and the Government for the implementation of projects in this region.

Prime Minister Haradinaj, during these meetings, also spoke of the current political situation in the country, concretely about recent developments involving Kosovo dialogue Serbia, saying that both sides should reach peaceful agreements with mutual recognition, in service of development of both countries, and that the idea of exchange of territories is similar to trade agreements, and as such are harmful.
