Haradinaj: Normalising relations with Serbia serves peace, stability

As the prime minister's office reports, in this case before numerous attendees, Prime Minister Haradinaj realized that in addition to unemployment, residents were also informed of their concern over lack of drinking water, confirming that the government will support their demand for water investment to bring them drinking water.

Among other things, Prime Minister Haradinaj, before those present, also spoke of the processes Kosovo is going through, with particular emphasis on dialogue with Serbia, stressing that normalising relations between the two states except that it would serve peace, would also contribute regional stability.

He said Kosovo institutions are working on the path to EU integration faster, NATO and other international institutions and the establishment of free movement of Kosovo citizens through the visa liberalisation process.

In his address on this visit, Prime Minister Haradinaj assured all communities in Kosovo that Kosovo institutions are constantly working on improving their welfare.

I commend you for preserving your traditional values as well as despite the challenges faced as a community you have continued to remain in your native countries. My government will take into account your demands, especially the lack of drinking water you are facing, but you will have my support through investment in solving this problem”, Prime Minister Haradinaj added.

Meanwhile, Minister Rasim Demiri said he is proud to be part of Haradinaj's government, praising that the Bosniak community in no government earlier has been more represented in central institutions.

The head of the village of Edis Alilji, who told of the village's challenges, particularly in the waterwork, expressed satisfaction with Prime Minister Haradinaj's visit, saying that in this village and in general in the Podgorica region, cultural and traditional values have been preserved by seeking support for water investments for residents of these villages, as according to him they have decided to stay in their native country.

Attending the event were Regional Development Minister Rasim Demiri, Kosovo Assembly deputies Duda Balje and Bahrim Shaban, deputy ministers and numerous citizens.
