Greece, number of unemployed drop below 20%

During the second quarter of 2018, the number of employees reached 3 860 395 people, while the number of unemployed was 905 983.

The unemployment rate was 19%, registering a drop in the ratio of 21.2%, which was the first quarter and in proportion to 21.1% that was in the same period a year ago.

The number of employed persons increased by 3.7% compared to the first quarter and 1.8% compared to the same period a year ago.

The number of unemployed people dropped by 9.5% compared to the previous quarter and by 10.9% compared to the same period a year ago.
