The EU answers Serbia: We don't guarantee anybody anything.

So the response from Brussels has been given today regarding Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq's request that for the comprehensive agreement on normalisation with Kosovo, he wants assurances that Serbia will enter the European Union, Koha.net broadcasts.

In response to this regard the Belgrade newspaper “danas” has requested, The EU has said that the earlier Serbia normalises relations with Kosovo and, provided it implements the agreement, the more likely the EU will make the political decision on its membership.
