The list of veterans considered to have falsely won war pensions has triggered numerous reactions in Kosovo.
After the situation, some people have given up the status of war veteran granting them financial contributions.
Doctor Mazlom Smajli said about RTV Dukagjin that the degradation of the KLA war is the reason he has renounced the status of war veteran.
“There have been many reasons, but one of them that the degradation of the KLA war, manipulation with the sacred work KLA soldiers have done”, Mazlom Smajli said, records Telegrafi.
Smajli says veterans are being manipulated in different forms.
We're seeing that with real veterans being manipulated in various forms, these are the best layer of nation left behind. Now some come out and take advantage of them. This has led me to leave the organization and I don't want to be with them”, Mazlom Smajli said.
Self-aware organs must deal with list verifications, Doctor Smajli stressed.
