The defendant's escape in Azem Syla case

At today's session some of the accused have been missing, while the court judge has decided to isolate the criminal procedure.

KALLXO.com columnist reports that the isolation of the procedure was done against indictees Ila Syla, Hajrullah Berisha, Nuhi Uka, and Mustaf Haliti.

“Since indictees are missing Ilaz Syla, Hajrullah Berisha, Nuri Uka, and Mustaf Haliti, the court body takes the decision: court procedures to those accused” are suspended, Judge Becir Kaluldra said.

Judge Kaluldra has clarified that accused Ilaz Syla has escaped after he had returned to custody at the decision of the Court of Appeals.

Judgment in the known case has continued today. Lawyer Haxhi Millaku, Ilaz Syla's defender, has told KALLXO.com that his defence is expected to soon be handed over to justice bodies, as he said there has been a misunderstanding in the procedure at the time when the verdict was appealed to the Court of Appeals.

The Court of Appeals has not allowed us to complain in the prosecutor's complaint.
