The indictment against 12 former members of the government Commission for the verification of war veterans, in the case known as “The false Vanterians, written more than two months ago by former Prosecutor Elez Blakaj, whom the heads of state charged as the “hein of the poultry” and <x4frecak<5>, has been handed over to the Court by the Special Prosecutor.
The people accused are the same, writes Koha Ditore today.
All 12 former members of the Commission to verify war veterans: Agim Ceku, Rrustem Berisha, Nuredin Lushtaku, Shumbin Demalijaj, Shukri Buja, Sadik Halitijaha, Faik Fazliu, Fadil Shudreaj, Xhasar, Qela Gashi, Ahmet Dacu and Smajl Elezaj will face the act of “the abuse of official position or authority”.
The difference, according to the communiqué through which the State Prosecutor announced this indictment, is that the beneficiary's names have been added to the indictment's slide.
But these names were identified by former Blackaj prosecutor and attached to the indictment several CDs, where the names of all illegal beneficiaries were scanned.
