The chairman of the court, Becir Kaluldra, has decided to reject the prosecution's claims against the accused: Arton Vila, Bejtush Zhugolli, Dalip Brahimi, Jeqori, Jabir Kaitazi, Isak, Isakon Mullaku, Lirim Zeka, Agim Jerlia, Gezim Rama, Basri Beka, Enver Bajrami, Guni Feriz, Fehmi Ferizi, Bislim Bajrami, Bajram Gashan and Shaip Krasniqi.
And in relation to the other indictees, Nexharije Hoti, Mehmet Pristina, Dukagjin namelah, Reshat Fetah, Gani Ademi, Avni Maxhuni and Albanian Maxhuni, Judge Kaluldra has approved the indictment filed by the Special Prosecutor.
The news is confirmed by the judge of the case, Bekir Kaluldra.
The special prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo accuses the group of 24 persons of organised crime, extraction and assistance of illegal judicial rulings, abuse of official office or authorisation in succession, plunder, counterfeiting the official document, misuse of position or authority in a continuous manner, and remitting the money in succession.
Of those charged by the Special Prosecutor, Nexharije Hoti was judge in Pristina's former Communist Court, Reshat Fetah, chief of the Legal Department in the AKP, Gani Ademi legal adviser to this department, Avni Maxhuni lawyer, Isak Ademi swimmer, Albion Mullaku employee at the BKT Bank, Jaibir Kaditazi legal representative at L.L.C. “Union” Sh.P.K.
The charges against this group relate to the misuse of property of Pristina and Gracanica municipalities.
It's 36 hectares of municipal land sold at very low prices compared to the real market price.
