The attack that occurred around 0900 (05:30 GMT) according to the semi-official agency I The SNA took place in Ahvaz, capital of the province of Khuzstan, populated mainly by Arabs.
Strikers shot from a park near the parade, wearing military uniforms, media reports. State television says Islamic militants stand behind the attack.
