The kingdom's public prosecutor has said that satira, which destroys <x0ndrend public”, will be punished after sending the country into disagreement.
The ruler of the kingdom has warned of the criticism he is facing from various human rights organizations, not excluding even his political dissidents.
Tens of Saudi citizens have been convicted on such charges after having had a dispute with the laws, especially with posts being made on the social network “Titter”.
Public prosecutor's message:
The distribution of satirical texts that provoke and divide public order, religious values and public morality through social media... will be regarded as a cyber crime punishable by maximum imprisonment of five years and a fine of 800,000.
