Instead of taking airline tickets back to Albania, an Albanian family head decided to end his life. He was thrown off a bridge in Germany shortly before being deported.
The news releases Izerlon newspaper in Germany, IKZ.
The Albanian seems to have failed to endure the idea that he would return home.
In Baski there are plane tickets for a family of four from Albania. At the request of the German state, Berat Yasani (changed name) was due to receive them Tuesday to return to the Balkan state with their wife and small son.
Only the adult girl is allowed to stay. But Berat Yasan is dead. Monday night, 42-year-old jumped off the Almeida Bridge.
According to the German newspaper, the family had come to Germany in July 2015.
The girl was trained as a nurse so she was allowed to stay in Germany.
Mother was so mentally ill that the girl is currently caring for her mother and son. But the federal immigration office said the woman could cure her illness in Albania.
Did Berat give up? In a recent message to Hutsapp for his family, the Albanian wrote that he felt disappointed and humiliated.
After all, he did exactly what German society asked him to do: She learned the language and started a job. His former chief describes him as a devoted worker. Customers were happy with the work of 42-year-old, he was punctual and correct.
Sylvia Olbrich from the refugee assistance office says Albanian is concerned about his family's welfare.
From the beginning he was concerned about providing his children with education and work. Constantly until the last days, he asked if there was any chance that his minor son would stay in Germany. In this context, his daughter sees the father's action. A despair.
Olbrich says authorities should not be so rude to immigrants.
A protest-homage has been warned Saturday.
