Albania running away from journalists, seeking asylum

Albanian journalists forced by a series of conditions that translate into uncertainty about themselves and their family are increasingly looking back from asylum. There are 12 journalists who have benefited or are following the procedures, as well as 34 others have left Albania by winning lottery and applying for citizenship”, says Alexander Cipa, head of the Union of Albanian Journalists.
Some of the journalists who asked for asylum are: Telnis So red, Fatos Mahmutaj, Gerti Dzaja, Mirjeta Ngjela, Arben Vata, Ledja Canaj, Ismail Xhaferi, Florjan Papadhimiri, Syveva Berberi, Sokol Peca, Hamza Hatika, Bled Delia.
The predictor of all requirements is the inability to live in social economic and informal conditions on the Albanian media scene. The most wanted countries by journalists are France, Sweden, Germany, England, Switzerland and Norway.
The “is about dissatisfaction with the wage system, about the salary level, about their delay. Journalists in Albania, in most cases, do not take extra hours, are not paid for the difficulty of financial obligations they face in performing the profession on different routes. In most cases, the income they provide is not enough, and some of them have decided to leave the country”, Cipa says.
Albania numbers 75 televisions and 800 online media that have opened in the last five years.
Only the town of Libohova, with 32,000 residents, numbers 4 online media, making journalism seem as easy and difficult.
Journalism is a very interesting profession, but it must be abandoned quickly, -- said former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who also exercised war journalism himself. Tch
