While Vetevendosje and Kurti did not receive support from opposition parties for this protest, he is being helped and in protest, the deputy chairman of one of the ruling coalition parties.
Last night Kurt's calls for participation in the protest were joined by Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri, who is also deputy chairman of the AKR, which is in co-governance with the PAN coalition.
But for AKR Secretary General Vesel Makolli, this issue will not affect coalition work because Bahtiri has acted on his behalf, not on behalf of the party.
The “cannot influence the coalition because it has personally evolved in its name, not on behalf of the party. We haven't talked about it, he knows more often than the party's positions”, Makolli said.
He has also commented on Bahtir's decision to join Vetevendosje's protest. According to Makolli, Agim Bahtiri is under pressure because he is mayor of Mitrovica and the current topic in the country is border correction.
“S first, Agim Bahtiri is a little bit specific as well as a personality but also because of its position, as Mitrovica chairman, which is halved even automatically he is under pressure from both opinion and because you know that border correction work has become a big deal. So, he's afraid he's suffering Mitrovica as Mitrovica, so he's got some kind of pressure like this”, Veshel Makoli told KALLXO.com.
Also specific as Agim often gives conflicting statements, but we are a liberal democratic party that respects freedom”, Makolli said further.
According to him, this AKR deputy chairman decision will not affect the ruling coalition.
On the other hand, AKR partners in Government have not commented on Bahtir's decision.
The head of the AAK parliamentary group, Ahmet Isufi, has declined to comment on the decision of the coracy partner of the coalicon.
“Do not comment on his” statement, Isufi said briefly.
Neither of the PDK ranks have commented.
KA LLXO.com has tried to contact PDK deputy chairman and Health Minister Uran Ismajli, but he has not responded.
On the other hand, even the party's parliamentary group's chief, Memli Kransiqi, has not commented on Bahtiri's decision.
The protest called by the Vetevendosje Movement will be held on Saturday 29 September.
