Local authorities have confirmed that the plane, which was traveling to Papua New Guinea from Minnesota, had lost track and crashed in water about 09:30 on Friday local time, broadcast Koha.net.
The Daily Mail reports that 47 people were miraculously rescued in this case, 36 passengers and 11 board members, but the plane was completely immersed and a person was injured.
