60% of citizens consider leaving Kosovo in the next three years

The report shows that the main reason unemployed youths are not looking for jobs is because they go to school or first want to finish school by 48 percent. Family responsibilities, such as caring for children, are the second most frequent reason for not seeking a job, followed by a lack of proper qualifications by 12 percent.
Almost all respondents claimed that their parents or family members supported them financially. 55 percent are supported by their parents, 46 percent by other family members, and 18.5 percent by relatives/friends living abroad. Only 1.5 percent of respondents claim to have support from Kosovo institutions”, the report follows.
