A teenager from Indonesia survived for 49 full days in a small cabin in the middle of the sea.
Aldy Novel Adilang was 125km deep in the Indonesian Gulf in mid-July when strong winds caused him problems with direction and attitude, causing him to sail hopelessly and without direction for more than a month, reports the BBC, Kosovo Press.
It ended up hundreds of miles away, near Guam, its place was saved. The 19 - year - old was left with a wooden car without a motorcycle or some other floating device. His job was to light the lamps that are designed to pull fish onto the rope.
Adilang shows that he was overly frightened and often wept because about 10 large ships hadn't even seen him. On August 31, he was able to send an emergency signal, and then he was saved in the waters of Guam.
He arrived in Japan on September 6, and returned to his family in Indonesia after two days.
