(8 years ago)Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has submitted to the Constitutional Court in Pristina the full list of 20,000 names being named fraud veterans. Following the publication of the names of veterans of the Drenica Operative Zone and the Postwork Zone, who from the prosecution allegedly received illegal retirement, the names of the Zone [...] have been published today.
In the Nerodime Operative Zone, there are 823 veteran members who are classified by the prosecution as being false.
According to the prosecution, about 20 thousand false veterans of the Republic of Kosovo budget have caused damage to many of the 68.153.533.14 euros.
Kosovo's Special Prosecutor has filed charges against 12 members of the Government Commission for recognising and verifying the status of KLA war veterans.
The incident is raised against: Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitijaha, Shumbin Demaliyaaj, Qele Gashi, Shukri Buja, Ahmet Daku, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliu, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudreaj and Xavit Yashari.
