Nearly 10,000 people start cleaning Gjilan

According to the planning, which was made by Task Force “to clear Gjilan”, co-ordinated by the mayor of the municipality, Lutfi Haziri, with the participation of all municipal institutions, the Court, the Prosecutor's, the Kosovo Police, KSF, elementary and high schools, religious communities, public enterprises, primary health and regional health, youth organisations, veterans, private operators and numerous citizens, [...]

According to the planning, which was made by Task Force “to clear Gjilan”, co-ordinated by the mayor of the municipality, Lutfi Haziri, with the participation of all municipal institutions, the Court, the Prosecutor's, the Kosovo Police, The KSF, elementary and high schools, religious communities, public enterprises, primary health and regional health, youth organisations, veterans, private operators and numerous citizens, has today launched activity to clean up Gjilan's entire territory.

Chairman Haziri before the crowd gathered in Central Square “Agim Ramadani” has thanked all participants attached to this action for a clean environment.

Thank you all for responding to an invitation to clean up the city, neighborhoods and villages. In a week, we're just cleaning and stocking. Next week we will work on planting decorative trees and greening spaces across different parts of the city. Together we will work constantly on future conservation. Today, this action will also begin in our municipality and villages, through the advice of our villages, religious communities and residents in the localities there”, said Mayor Haziri, who will visit certain locations during the day.

In contrast, it is believed that in the city of Gjilan today, some 10,000 people are cleaning up from schools with about 6 thousand students and teachers, about 500 doctors, about 300 civil servants, about 500 municipal workers, about 500 people from organizing religious communities, then numerous olivemen, NGOs, etc.
