The situation in American politics over a year and a half often resembles a circus, in which foolishness is never carried out, however, the next 11 weeks may be the most dangerous period for American President Donald Trump's rule, with the possibility of greater consequences, writes “Washington Post”.
The federal government has investigated whether Cohen deceived the bank and the tax service and borrowed in many of the more than $20m for taxi companies who are owned by him and his family, and checked whether he violated the laws on campaign financing or any other law when he helped draft contracts to pay for the silences of women who allegedly had ties with Trump.

His trade struggle with other states so far has only caused job losses and uncertainty, and new international crises and conflicts with American allies are possible, the WP estimates.
The climate of this period is the convention elections in November, because if the Democrats take control of Congress, new investigations of Trump scandals will follow.
