Yesterday's statement by Donald Trump National Security adviser John Bolton, that the United States does not oppose the exchange of territories if Pristina and Belgrade agree on this, is an indication that for the first time, major powers are respecting Serbia's interest in trying to find a solution for Kosovo, thus Serbian politician Goran Vesic from the Serbian Progressive Party.
According to him, this is a major achievement of President Alexander Vuciq's policy.
“What is happening today is a major victory for Serbia” has said Vesic for Tv Pink.
He says Bolton's position is extremely important for Serbia's reports with internationals, and that Serbia is now more equal to Kosovo in dialogue.
According to him, everyone should support Vucinqi, because as never before, Serbia has a president who is sending the country forward.
There was no president like Alexander Vuciq in Serbia's history. We all have to stand behind him until Serbia faces problems and we can finally move forward as state” has said Vesic.
Asked whether the agreement between Pristina and Belgrade is possible, he has said such an agreement will not occur until the United States of America does not show they are ready for it.
The key to resolving Kosovo's problem is the United States of America and the European Union. The opening of US policies opens the possibilities for a possible” deal, Vesic concludes.
Meanwhile, Bolton's stance is seeing both the extremely important and the president of the Centre for Glovale Policy Studies, Dejan Miletic.
His view is very important because it comes from a very important person in the Trump administration.
Miletic says for the first time from such an attitude, it does not seem that for the US, the borders of the Republic of Kosovo are incompatible.
